3/26 Oly Camp Kitties, Olympia, WA, for spay and neuter surgeries
This all volunteer crew has a unique mission of providing care for kitties (and some pups) with owners who are in homeless encampments, shelters, and assisted housing communities. They provide food and basic supplies, worm and flea treatments, and spay/neuter and microchips as well as assisting with re-homing pets when needed. MJ is one of many kitties who received alter surgery, vaccines and a chip provided by our grant.

4/26 Feline Freedom Flight Rescue, San Jacinto, CA, for spay and neuter surgeries
This small, all-volunteer foster-based kitty rescue requested help with TNR funds
They are starting to assist the community cats with TNR to help their local overpopulation problem

4/26 Citizen Canine Senior Dog Rescue, La Grange Park, IL, for vet care
Molly, a happy, active senior Beagle came to the rescue as a victim of divorce. Shortly after, the lump on her leg was diagnosed as cancer. It was removed, but the vet advised radiation therapy to give her a long life
We were able to help fund Molly's radiation treatments, and her Beagle-loving foster dad will be adopting her (almost done and she's well)!
This amazing volunteer crew specializes in senior and hospice dogs. We met happy Rocky waiting for his home!

4/26 Heart of the Underdog, Spring, TX, for urgent vet care for mama Abilene and her 11 babies
Very pregnant Abilene was rescued from the streets. 11 of her puppies survived. She needed vet care for multiple issues.
Lots of puppies means lots of vet bills and alter surgeries. Our grant will help with these expenses!
This all-volunteer rescue will lovingly foster these pups until they are ready for furever homes
This rescue focuses on saving street dogs and others who wouldn't have a chance!

5/26 Cleo's Legacy, Melbourne KY, for urgent vet care and surgery for Oak, who was suffering with a crumpled leg that was infected to the bone
Oak also had 2 tick-borne diseases and parasites. This sweet boy is recovering well!
This all-volunteer rescue focuses on dogs the others can't take, such as medical, behavioral, and "long timers"

This rescue serves many rural counties where there is substantial neglect.

This small rescue saves pups at risk for euthanasia in an area overrun with strays
They work with the local rural animal control, where 99% of dogs under their care are at risk of euthanasia
They offer low cost spay and neuter services to the community
These volunteers also provide community education sessions
They work to make dogs more adoptable in the community or get them to safe rescue partners
This little rescue cared for 410 dogs last year!
