Very pregnant Abilene was rescued from the streets. 11 of her puppies survived. She needed vet care for multiple issues.
Lots of puppies means lots of vet bills and alter surgeries. Our grant will help with these expenses!
This all-volunteer rescue will lovingly foster these pups until they are ready for furever homes
This rescue focuses on saving street dogs and others who wouldn't have a chance!

5/26 Cleo's Legacy, Melbourne KY, for urgent vet care and surgery for Oak, who was suffering with a crumpled leg that was infected to the bone
Oak also had 2 tick-borne diseases and parasites. This sweet boy is recovering well!
This all-volunteer rescue focuses on dogs the others can't take, such as medical, behavioral, and "long timers"
This Pawsome rescue also saves kitties! All you see here are adoptable!
This rescue serves many rural counties where there is substantial neglect.
The community joined to match our grant, providing even more crucial vet care funds to support Cleo's Legacy

They specialize in small breed dogs like the adoptable pups featured here
This group helps the community with supplies and vet bills, and educates on spay and neuter
All adoptable pups waiting for furever homes live in comfy foster homes, like Max and Sophie!
This group also rescues strays and surrenders, and provides them with extra care,, like heartworm prevention and parasite treatment, that they often go without
6/26 Foundation of Caring Animal Supporters, Cleburne TX, for pre-adoption kitty dental and vet care
This small volunteer crew saves many unwanted and stray dogs and cats
All of the kitties you see here, and many others, will receive vet care with our grant funds
This small crew also operates a community pet food bank
They contribute greatly to reducing their overpopulated community of unwanted pets
6/26 Jackson's Brush Puppy Rescue, Pearsall, TX, for basic vet care for dozens of saved pups
This small rescue saves pups at risk for euthanasia in an area overrun with strays
They work with the local rural animal control, where 99% of dogs under their care are at risk of euthanasia
They offer low cost spay and neuter services to the community
These volunteers also provide community education sessions
They work to make dogs more adoptable in the community or get them to safe rescue partners
This little rescue cared for 410 dogs last year!
6/26 Paws in the Sand Cat Rescue, Long Beach, CA, for trapping supplies and kitten food
This small all volunteer group helps hundreds of kitties every year
They save babies, like Oliva, from being born on the street and foster them
2 volunteers alone did TNR for over 500 street cats last year!
